What does it mean to be a sustainable clothing retailer?
Our vision to be considered a sustainable business means that we care for humans, animals, and the environment, we delve into the background of who we partner with and are happy to share our trading ethos with our partners too, helping to create a transparent synergy that we can build strong lasting relationships with. This in turn help us, and them, provide the resources required in looking after their partners in manufacturing and transporting the goods from their countries to our store. This includes actions like ethical sourcing, safe working conditions, water conservation efforts, offsetting impact, and giving back.
Consumers are now seeking out a sustainability statements that includes where and how clothing is made, and how. For us, sourcing these in advance helps us, and you, make these better retail purchases, knowing that you are giving back in the process.
We look for independently certified companies, certifications like B Corporation (or B Corp), Fair Trade Certified, and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) the se certifications help us to instil trust in our choices and you, our customer, can be confident that claims are vetted by a trusted third party.
We have teamed up with some amazing B Corp brands and companies who share our vision and dream for a cleaner and ethical business practices.
